I recently came across a site called Y2Mate Mp3 that lets you download YouTube videos as MP3 or MP4 without installing anything. Super easy to use just paste the link, pick the format, and download. I’ve used it a few times now to save music and podcasts for offline listening, and it works pretty fast.

Has anyone else tried it? I’m curious if it’s really safe long-term. I didn’t see any viruses or sketchy behavior, but I know some of these sites can be hit or miss.
